Hello and welcome to CreativeFreestyle! We're busily working on a new site with lots of crazy features and fun things that will never work in IE6, but in the meantime we've given the old site a little face lift to brighten it up for the spring!
Finally back from our little jaunt to France and Spain, Surfboards back in the boardbags for a month or so, and its time to do some work!
addison
Having just completed a 3 and a half month contract with addison, helping them to produce Annual Report and Financial Review websites for many large multinational companies, I've decided to add a new client section to the site, click through to see a full list of projects.

Cognos/IBM
Before Christmas I worked with Twentyfirst to produce a viras email for Cognos, now a part of IBM, which was sent out to give people the opportunity to win a Blackberry Bold.
It may look a little weird from the shot here (I didn't design it), but it was hugely successful for gathering market data from existing clients, and capturing many more as well
Sadly it was only accessible if you linked through the email, and the competition is now over, so no link :(

twentyfirst
I recently contributed to the front end development of twentyfirst's new website.
The project was already underway when I joined the team as a contractor, but I was able to carry out a lot of the structural work, and cross browser compatability, as well as integrating plugins and feeds for twitter and Flickr, and I capped it all off with a nice little jquery image slider for the staff pictures.

Bell Design/TLA
Working as a contractor for Bell Design, I was able to build a fully functioning flash microsite to promote the Teacher Learning Academy.
Taken from an illustrator design, I built the site using Actionscript 2, and integrated flash video into several pages.
Released to the public on a pen drive as part of a promotional pack, it is not yet on the internet for me to link to, but I shall get a working version running from my site soon!

MediaWeek Relaunch
Redevelopment of the MediaWeek website, part of the Brand Media group, which was merged into the main group website a couple of years ago, and is now the first magazine to be launched as a stand alone site again.
As the first site in the Brand Media series to be seperated, a lot of work has gone into the XSL used to generate the main structure of the site.

Cord International
I have recently taken the existing site of Cord International and redeveloped it in XHTML to remove its old div/table structure, and modernised the content and much of the appearance, while keeping within their branding colours.

Spliced Pictures
Spliced Pictures is a collaboration of directors Bryan Thompson of lone pal, and Andrew Harmer of NeedGlue, produced on a tight budget.
A relatively simple site, yet full of tricky features. The design, is clean and uncluttered, with use of DOM scripting to hide elements so they only appear when the user needs them, and the site uses Flash video to display portfolio pieces with as small a file size and download time as possible.

Email Bulletin - Need Glue/SplicedPictures
A small development piece designed by Andrew Harmer of needglue, part online video presentation, and part email bulletin, sent out to directors and producers.
Needglue is now part of splicedpictures.com, a collective of directors, of both music videos and short films.

For The Creative Place I produced a flash based holding page, with preloader, from their new site branding.
The site is to be redesigned soon.
