Evolve Wellness Centre was a deceptively challenging project. It uses WordPress as a CMS, which was a bit of a battle to get working the way we needed (much more so than this site, which was a comparative breeze), but it came together well and has allowed the client to make most updates they need to their schedules and copy without needing any help.
They also use several widgets integrated from Healcode to bring in booking functionality, teacher info, sign up forms and timetables. Which saved a lot of time and money in back end work.
There was a design provided for this site early on, but it was very basic, and didn’t include many elements that we ended up including, so I carried out a fair bit of reworking to get the fonts, colours and positioning looking good and usable. The overall layout is the same, but it has a much cleaner look and feel now.
This site also proved to me that I can in fact work from my girlfriends house in Crete, even if it means driving 3 towns over to get a wifi signal!
