Hello and welcome to CreativeFreestyle! I've just come to the end of a long run at addison working with them on their annual report projects for several major clients (see below).
I've just returned from Africa where I was raising some money for charity by climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, now it's time to go back to work!
National Grid (Addison)
This year's National Grid Annual report was a lot of fun, some new design elements over last years site meant we had to code from scratch, but it gave us a chance to get a lot of new JQuery elements in, as well as some stylish new CSS elements.
This site also has a beast of a print stylesheet, printing the site pretty closely to the appearance of the actual website, while staying within the bounds of what is possible with an IE6 print preview!

Vodafone (Addison)
While not the primary developer on Vodafone this year, I contributed to many aspects of the code, areas of the template and styling and population of the site, which I think now looks pretty great!

WPP (Addison)
This year I had the pleasure of working on the WPP annual report as well. It is always great fun to work on WPP, as the design varies so much with every report, taking influences from a different artist every year, this year's was Wayne Thiebaud

Standard Chartered Report (Addison)
I worked heavily with Standard Chartered this year, in both their annual report and review, styling from scratch and taking the whole project through to completion (including some very late nights and Nandos takeaways!)

Anglo American (Addison)
I worked on Anglo American for the second year running, which was a great project, always a nice one to get settled back in to the Annual Report flow. Nice simple design, and good clean code and functionality.

De Beers (Addison)
De Beers was a new project for me, and the first Addison Annual Report client to go live in 2010, we completed this project outside of the CMS which we used for all the other sites, as it was only small, and it meant we could deploy sooner.
There were some pretty whacky features in this one, including an option to customise what information appears on the home page, slightly odd, but overall a nice site to work on for a great client.

RSA (Addison)
The RSA annual report was my first dip into the new Addison CMS system and the new levels of JQuery that we would be using this year, it was great to work on, as I was completing the early templating work and styling up from the design before passing it over for further work as I moved on to Anglo American.
The home page animation and colours went through several changes until we got them right, and it was great to be included in the design stage for this, and to have some of my ideas carried though to the final site.

Inside Nokia Music
I've been meaning to include this for a while now, ages back Morph London asked me to collaborate on a wordpress theme for the Inside Nokia Music blog site.
The deadline was tight, and it was a tough project, but together we managed to get everything ready. I worked mainly on the initial template builds, and styling of the site.
I think it looks great, with a relatively challenging design (not sure who the designers were so I can't credit!), and I definitely learnt a thing or two on this project!
Sadly its not online any more, these things move on...

BEV Blog
I have recently been helping out the guys at Birds Eye View with their blog, it was looking a little dated and wasn't displaying exactly what they wanted to get people interested in whats going on, so I gave it a facelift, added some new features like their twitter feed, and a search for blog articles, and tried to blend in the styles with the main site a bit more.
Check it out, and if you need a quick facelift for your blog, drop me an email/call/tweet!

Lomography
In an effort to expand the range of my work, I recently started taking photos again after a break of a year or so, and have already introduced them into several projects.
Rather than working purely with digital as in the past, I've started experimenting more with older 35mm cameras, particularly a Lomo and an Olympus Trip 35, both of which give a much richer colour and texture to the photos.
I'm hoping to include a lot more of this in my web and graphic design in the future, and there's painting and non digital images coming along soon too so in the cheesiest way possible, watch this space...

Portfolio X
I'm a tad bored this evening, so I thought I would post a couple of the designs that didn't make it to the final cut of my redesign, I like them, but they aren't quite right!
I would say to leave some feedback but I havent got round to adding any comments functionality to the site yet, that will come with the new design launch though! :)

Thomson Reuters
CreativeFreestyle is now working along side Thomson Reuters in house to produce everything from email templates to micro sites and graphics.
While the 9 - 5 is now largely taken up with this for the forseeable future, we are still taking on freelance work on a range of projects, so get in touch if there's anything you need help with!
The image to the left breaks pretty much every brand guideline, but never mind, we'll ignore that - I'll post more brand compliant work on here as its released!

IME Commodities
While in France recently I completed a quick project for CreativeEquals, building the site for IME Commodities Ltd.
I can't lie to you, building a website while sitting on the Basque French coast does soften the blow of working some what :)

twentyfirst
I recently contributed to the front end development of twentyfirst's new website.
The project was already underway when I joined the team as a contractor, but I was able to carry out a lot of the structural work, and cross browser compatability, as well as integrating plugins and feeds for twitter and Flickr, and I capped it all off with a nice little jquery image slider for the staff pictures.

MediaWeek Relaunch
Redevelopment of the MediaWeek website, part of the Brand Media group, which was merged into the main group website a couple of years ago, and is now the first magazine to be launched as a stand alone site again.
As the first site in the Brand Media series to be seperated, a lot of work has gone into the XSL used to generate the main structure of the site.

Needglue is now part of splicedpictures.com, a collective of directors, of both music videos and short films*.
* both spliced and needglue are no longer online, so you'll just have to enjoy this little image and take my word for it! If you're really interested, send me and email and I will provide a link to the version on my server.
